The Sketchbook Project theme is chosen....It ended in a tie between Lights in the Distance and Secret Codes. My four year old broke the tie when he chose Secret Codes, not that it would have mattered as Lights in the Distance filled up and was no longer an option. I've ordered my book and will go from there. Thanks to everyone who voted!!
Ok, guys, you may not enjoy today's post so much, or maybe you will, who am I to judge? I've following this website New Dress A Day. Essentially this woman gets laid off from her job and embarks on this project that is summed up like this (from her site): 365 Days. 365 New Outfits. 365 Dollars. Yep, she is spending $1 a day on each item then deconstructing it and reconstructing it to suit her taste. I love this shit. Here are just a few examples.

How clever. I wish I had that kind of talent.
That is cool!! I don't have even an ounce of talent like that. Very cool
Wow...she has got some awesome talent! I wish I could be as talented as her...how cool would that be to make incredible things out of basically non-wearable articles of clothing!
that is amazing! she really has some talent! i wish i had each of those dresses!
This is AWESOME! I'm going to def show this to my team at work...they will love it!
I wish I had an ounce of this women's talent as a seamstress and ability to transform hideous articles of clothing into great fashion.
Wow! She's pretty talented with a sewing machine!
Wow. She is really good. I like this one a lot better than the woman who is wearing the same dress every day. That woman has changed up the accessories so much it must have cost a fortune.
I have seen this blog as well. I used to do a lot of sewing in my past life before I was a triathlete so I can appreciate the work that this gal puts into re-working these hideous out dated and oversized dresses. She rocks!
I would like to know what her hubby thinks...
